• Needle insertion – During an acupuncture treatment, your acupuncturist inserts hair- thin needles into specific spots on your body. A typical treatment uses 5 to 20 needles. You may feel a mild aching sensation when a needle reaches the correct depth. Normally you should have the sensation of warmth, tingling, achy, pressure or heaviness. Some people often don’t feel them inserted at all. Our skillful acupuncturists can minimize your discomfort sensation when inserting a needle.
• Needle manipulation – Your practitioner may gently move or twirl the needles after placement.
• Needle removal – In most cases, the needles remain in place for 15 to 20 minutes while you lie still and relax. There is usually no discomfort when the needles are removed.

A minimum of 24 hours advance notice is required for any appointment cancellation. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full cost of the treatment as booked.
